so, this is my first blog post...hello world :).
I am pretty much your average girl... with an above average stubborn streak. God's been trying to teach me the same lesson my entire life: that I am a bride first to He. Due to the above mentioned stubborn streak, it has taken me awhile to grasp it... and I will probably still be trying when im 97 :) but im not giving up!
I decided to document my journey and what the things I learn because I have a feeling I might not be the only girl who struggles with the whole concept of finding my identity and worth in Jesus. I am hoping that my mistakes and struggles will help someone else- and that others may read this and be able to share their own wisdom with me.
In a world that works overtime to tell us who we are: worthless, objects, beautiful only when we show our bodies- we're going to have to work even harder to speak truth into our lives.
We are daughters of the King- crafted with care until we were perfect in God's eyes. We are priceless and we are His. It was easy enough to type it, the hard part is believing it!
It's going to take some team work, but with time- i think we can start to own our true identities :)
